Eggless Chocolate Cupcakes or muffins / How to make Eggless Chocolate Cupcakes
Today I am going to share the recipe of eggless chocolate cupcake. This recipe is very easy and simple. We love these moist and soft chocolate cupcakes . My kid loves these cupcakes and whenever I start baking , he stays there and helps me mixing batter and lining the cupcake liners until he gets his share.
Here in this recipe I am making small batch of cupcakes so I am using all ingredients in small measurements. This recipe will make 6-8 cupcakes.All the ingredients used in this recipe are very simple and commonly used in everyday cooking.
So let's get to the recipe......
Ingredients
- All purpose flour or plain flour or maida 1/2 cup
- Unsweetened cocoa powder 1 1/2 tbs
- Suger 1/3 cup
- Baking powder 1/2 tsp
- Baking soda 1/4 tsp
- Salt 1/4 tsp
- Vanilla essence1/2 tsp
- Oil or melted butter 2 tbs
- Milk 1/2 cup
- Lemon juice 1 tsp
Method
- Before start making cupcake batter , set your oven at 180 degrees C. Preheat the oven for at least 10 minutes.
- Line the cupcake tray with cupcake liner or simply grease the cupcake tray with oil or butter and keep it aside.
- Take a bowl , sieve all the dry ingredients. Sifting removes the lumps in batter and makes airy.
- Mix all the dry ingredients with a whisk together.
- Add oil or melted butter in dry ingredients and mix well.
- Next add milk and mix the batter very well so that there are no lumps.
- Lemon juice is the last ingredient we will add when we are ready to bake the cupcake. Now add the lemon juice and mix it very well altogether. Do not over mix the batter.
- Fill the muffins cups about 1/3 with batter .
- Bake into oven for 20-25min . Remove cupcakes from oven and Insert a toothpick , It should come out clean.
- Let them cool down down completely.
- You can have these cupcake with your favorite frosting or simply sprinkle some powdered sugar on top.
