Baby corn Manchurian is one of my favorite Manchurian recipes especially this dry version which I am going to share. I have tasted Baby corn Manchurian in restaurants before so I decided to try this at home . I made these Baby corn Manchurian with vegetable fried rice this weekend .
Baby corn Manchurian recipe is easy and simple to cook. This dish will be ready in no time . Baby corn Manchurian is a great starter or snack for parties too.
In this recipe , I don't boil or microwave the baby corn because boiling makes baby corn very soft. I like the Baby corn Manchurian more when they are chrunchy . Baby corns are already very soft and tender so there is no need for precooking.
Let's start delicious Baby corn Manchurian recipe.
Take a big bowl , add corn flour , all purpose flour, ginger-garlic paste, ketchup, little salt and black pepper powder. Mix them together.
Dip the baby corn in such a way they should be coated well.
Deep fry the baby corn dipped in batter until they are golden and crispy.
Heat 2 tbs oil in a pan , add 1 tsp crushed ginger-garlic and sauté for few seconds.
Add chopped onion , green chillies and bell pepper and stir it for a minute or two.
Add soy sauce, tomato ketchup and red chilli sauce. Mix it well with veggies.
Add corn flour dissolved in water and stir it.
Add fried baby corn to this sauce and mix it very well.
Add little salt and mix it.
Mix it well so that fried baby corn should be coated with sauce.
Garnish with chopped spring onion green.

For making Manchurian
- Baby corn 10-12
- Corn flour 1/2 cup
- All purpose flour 1/4 cup
- Ginger-garlic paste 1 tbs
- Tomato ketchup 1 1/2 tbs
- Black pepper powder 1/4 tsp
- Salt as required
- Water as required
- Oil for deep frying
- Oil 1 1/2 tbs
- Onion small thinly chopped lengthwise
- Green chillies cut into 2 vertically
- Bell pepper or capsicum 1/2 chopped vertically
- Ginger-garlic crushed 1 tsp
- Soy sauce 1 tbs
- Tomato ketchup 2 tbs
- Red chilly sauce 1 tbs
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper powder
- Corn flour 1 tbs dissolved in 1/2 cup of water
- Spring onion chopped finely
Method
Rinse the baby corns and cut into half if they are big.
Chop the onion and bell pepper lengthwise .
Take a big bowl , add corn flour , all purpose flour, ginger-garlic paste, ketchup, little salt and black pepper powder. Mix them together.
Add water little by little so that there will be no lump in batter. The batter shouldn't be too thick or too watery.
Dip the baby corn in such a way they should be coated well.
