Bhindi ki kadhi / Khatti bhindi / Okra in yoghurt and gramflour stew /Bhindi wali kadhi | Bhindi Khadhi
Today I cooked Bhindi ki kadhi for lunch. My family loves this kadhi. This recipe is another variation of kadhi where we don't make pakoras. In this recipe we sauté okra and simmer it into gravy of gramflour and yoghurt .
This recipe is quite simple and takes less time rather than pakoda kadhi. Okra kadhi is perfect for lunch with hot rice and rotis.
I heard about this kadhi from Mr. Hubby and my Sil for very first time. My Sil told me the traditional chattisgarhi recipe of this kadhi. I made few change and add few more ingredient to enhance the flavor . Hope you all would love it.
If you are bored of pakoda kadhi, I must say " you should give it a try ".

Meanwhile , take a bowl, add 1.5 tbsp gram flour , add yoghurt , turmeric powder and red chilli powder.
Whisk properly and make a lump free batter.
Add asafoetida ,fenugreek seeds , mustard seeds, and curry leaves.
